President's Message

In this decade of challenging economic times we hope the Fair will serve as a fun, educational and an affordable family outing. It is a place where old neighbours and new friends can meet, where we can see the usual animals and the new agricultural innovations, where we can admire the familiar heritage crafts and find new ideas to try.

It is with great pride that the Directors of the Shawville Fair invite you to the 153rd Shawville Fair. It is with concern for the future that we emphasize “Going Green” at this year’s fair and for every fair to come. We encourage you to take pride in your surroundings and the future of your environment. We are promoting the use of environment friendly containers and the action of recycling and sorting of our garbage.

Please help us to keep our grounds and town clean and yourselves healthy. We remind you to find and use our hand washing stations, to eat healthy and exercise regularly so that you can enjoy many Shawville fair to come.
